If you have a spare room and the patience and empathy to help a young person reach their potential, we would like to hear from you. Renting your spare room to a young person not only brings a steady income, it can also be a rewarding experience..

3 Bridge Solution Supported Lodgings service helps young people aged 16-25 develop the life skills they need to live independently. Supported Lodgings Hosts help bridge the gap young people face between being in care or living at home.

The young people referred to 3 Bridge Solution Supported Lodgings may have experienced trauma in their lives, they may be experiencing difficulty in transitioning into adulthood, they may have been in care or recently made homeless. The young people may need help with basic life skills, may need someone to talk to or simply a stable place to call home, from which to build their futures.

Some of the young people will have a Social Worker and every young person will be allocated a 3 Bridge Solution ‘Progression Coach’ who will work with the young person and the Host to develop a progression plan with agreed, measurable goals and aspirations.

3 Bridge Solution carefully assess the needs and aspiration of each person and aim to match the young person with a Host best placed to help the young person reach their full potential.

Being a 3 Bridge Solution Supported Lodgings Host can be challenging. All Hosts are carefully vetted and must have a clear Enhanced DBS check, as will all members of the household over 18. 3 Bridge Solution provide a range of training for Hosts as well as ongoing support, guidance and a 24 hour help line.

We are actively recruiting Supported Lodgings Hosts from West Sussex, East Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Hampshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and London.
